The U shape is the Aboriginal symbol of a man or woman sitting. It has been used by Aboriginal people for 65,000 years to keep our story lines alive and used by many different Aboriginal language groups all over Australia. This earring design was inspired by the 2019 NAIDOC theme Voice , Treaty , Truth .
